Li Auto delivered 16,007 Li i6 SUVs in February, slightly down from 16,883 in January.

Li Auto has informed some Li i6 order holders that their vehicle deliveries will be delayed due to insufficient battery supply.

Li Auto's L-series EREVs continued to see over 50 percent year-on-year declines, while newly launched Li i6 and Li i8 saw sequential increases in deliveries.

All four of Li Auto's EREV models saw monthly deliveries plummet over 60 percent, while the i6 and i8 each delivered nearly 6,000 units in October.

Li Auto has pledged to cover potential vehicle purchase tax benefit losses for customers who order the Li i6 before October 31.

Li Auto has received more than 20,000 firm orders for the Li i6 electric SUV after launching the model earlier today, according to a local media report.

The five-seat Li i6 comes in a single trim starting at RMB 249,800 ($35,020), 26.49 percent lower than the six-seat Li i8.

The Li i6 will be officially launched on September 26, with an expected price range of about RMB 250,000 ($35,150) to RMB 300,000.

Li Auto aims for stable monthly deliveries of 9,000 to 10,000 units for the Li i6, the company's CEO said earlier this month.

The Li i6 is set to launch in September to take on Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, and Audi Q5.
