Leapmotor opened its first overseas innovation center in Munich to lead design iteration and concept R&D.

The move would mark the first time a major Western automaker relies on a Chinese company's vehicle architecture and software to support European models.

Leapmotor launched the C10 and B10 SUVs in Brazil and Chile, and showed the C16 SUV at the São Paulo auto show.

Leapmotor will first produce its B10 compact SUV at a Stellantis plant in Spain, followed by the B05.

In 2025, the Leapmotor B10 will be available in over 20 countries and regions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and South America.

Leapmotor vehicles will be available at select Stellantis dealers in South Africa starting in September, with more models expected to be launched within the next year.

Leapmotor has launched pre-sales of its T03 compact EV and C10 SUV in Hong Kong.

Market development in Hong Kong and Macau will be handled by Leapmotor's marketing team in the Chinese mainland.

Leapmotor and Stellantis plan to start production of the Leapmotor C10 SUV in Malaysia by the end of 2025.

Leapmotor already has more than 400 sales outlets in 13 European countries, with plans to expand to 500 by the end of 2025.
