The 10,000th L90 was delivered at the Chengdu auto show, 29 days after the SUV began deliveries on August 1.

This is expected to enhance the appeal of Nio models and reduce complaints about their relatively low range.

The Onvo L90 seven-seater show cars will be open to visitors starting at 10:00 am Beijing time on August 29.

The special edition Firefly EV starts at RMB 133,800 ($18,680) including the battery pack, 11.69 percent higher than the base variant.

Nio Inc's new order flow is estimated to be around 57,000 units in August, primarily driven by strong demand for the Onvo L90 SUV.

Onvo's registrations last week totaled 4,104 units, marking the second-highest on record, up 8.28 percent from the previous week's 3,790 units.

The third-generation ES8 SUV will be officially launched at Nio Day 2025.

Since the new- generation ES8 debuted on August 21, Nio shares have jumped about 33 percent over three trading days in Hong Kong.
