The Luxeed S7 will be the first sedan jointly built by Huawei and an automaker and will surpass the Tesla Model S in every specification, a Huawei executive said.

The Aito M9 is available in EREV and BEV versions, both with an expected starting price range of 500,000 to 600,000 Chinese yuan.

Huawei's Richard Yu previously said the Aito M9, which will go on sale in the fourth quarter, is a model built from the ground up by the tech giant.

The starting price of the new M7 EREV is not only RMB 40,000 lower than its predecessor, it is also significantly lower than the price of its main competitor.

The Luxeed S7, the first model under the Luxeed brand, is expected to debut this quarter.

The coupe, which will be unveiled this quarter, belongs to the new Luxeed brand and will be the first to come with the HarmonyOS 4 operating system.

Seres and Huawei will jointly launch a new vehicle platform, the first flagship model of which is scheduled for release in 2023.
