GAC Aion's Hyper brand said on April 9 that it will hold a launch event on Friday, April 12 to announce its all-solid-state battery.
The battery will feature a 100 percent solid-state electrolyte with ultra-high energy density, strong intrinsic safety, and an ultra-wide usage temperature range, Hyper said.
The solid-state battery has already moved from the lab into mass production applications, Hyper said.
