- The Avatr 07L is expected to feature Huawei's 896-channel LiDAR sensor and ADS smart driving system.
- The SUV is slated to complete regulatory filings in the coming days, with pricing expected to be higher than the Avatr 07.

Avatr Technology, the electric vehicle (EV) brand backed by Changan Automobile, CATL, and Huawei, released official images of its 07L sport utility vehicle (SUV) on Saturday, continuing to ramp up teasers for the all-new model.
Positioned as a luxury family SUV, the new model is jointly developed by Avatr and Huawei's Qiankun team.
Official images show that the front-end design of the Avatr 07L remains largely unchanged from the current 07 model, maintaining a high degree of brand recognition.
Notable changes to the model are seen in its side profile, which features slightly longer rear doors, larger C-pillar side windows, and a significantly extended trunk.
Compared with the current Avatr 07's wheelbase of 2,940 millimeters and body length of 4,825 mm, the new vehicle is expected to boast a longer wheelbase to provide greater interior space.
While specifications for the Avatr 07L are not yet available, it is expected to be equipped with a roof-mounted 896-channel LiDAR sensor from Huawei — the highest specification currently in global mass production — along with Huawei's Qiankun ADS smart driving system.
The Chinese EV maker's existing product lineup broadly covers the sedan and SUV categories, including the Avatr 06, 06T, 07, 11, 12, 011, and 012.
First launched in September 2024, the Avatr 07 was the brand's first model to offer both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) options.
The current 2026 Avatr 07 offers consumers a choice of six different versions, with starting prices ranging from 219,900 yuan ($32,340) to 289,900 yuan.
Additionally, Avatr offers the 07 Pro+ edition in both BEV and EREV variants, starting at 219,900 yuan and 229,900 yuan, respectively.
The Avatr 07L is slated to be included in the filing catalog of Chinese regulators in the coming days, and its final pricing is expected to be higher than that of the current Avatr 07.
Yesterday, Avatr shared camouflaged images of the model, referring to it as an expansion of the Avatr 07 series.
