- The 5,235-mm long Huajing S hybrid SUV starts at just 149,800 yuan ($22,030) after trade-in subsidies.
- The model comes standard with Huawei's full suite of smart driving technologies, further intensifying competition in the Chinese auto market.

Huajing S, the first model resulting from the partnership between SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) and Huawei, has officially hit the market, bringing more competition to the large hybrid SUV (sport utility vehicle) segment with its aggressive pricing.
The new model, a full-size, large six-seater SUV, entered the Chinese market on Friday with a highly aggressive pricing strategy.
The new model's starting price after trade-in subsidies is 149,800 yuan ($22,030). Its official suggested retail price ranges from 159,800 yuan to 203,800 yuan.
Immediate deliveries of the new vehicle have begun at 309 experience centers across 204 cities in China, SGMW said.
A core selling point of the model is that Huawei's comprehensive smart auto solutions come as standard across the lineup, with all trims equipped with the HarmonySpace 5.0 cockpit system and the Qiankun ADS Pro enhanced autonomous driving system.
Additionally, the vehicle features the first application of Huawei's Limera in-cabin LiDAR technology.
With its massive body size, the Huajing S targets the premium family vehicle segment.
The vehicle measures 5,235 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm.
The interior is equipped with zero-gravity massage seats, an in-car hot-and-cold refrigerator, and a multi-screen entertainment and connectivity system.
The SUV adopts a 1.5T plug-in hybrid electric vehicle powertrain paired with batteries mainly from CATL (HKG: 3750).
The top-trim four-wheel-drive version delivers a combined output of 386 kilowatts and a peak torque of 620 Nm. The model can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.2 seconds.
Under the CLTC testing standard, the vehicle's maximum pure electric range reaches 255 kilometers. With a full tank and full charge, its comprehensive range exceeds 1,100 kilometers.
The car also supports 3.5C fast charging technology, with official claims stating that a 12-minute charge can significantly increase its range.
The launch marks an ambitious step for SGMW into the higher-priced automotive market, after years of targeting the budget segment.
By introducing Huawei's technologies in the sub-150,000 yuan price range, the automaker has launched a direct challenge to a large number of existing premium models in the same class in the Chinese market.
