Zeekr, the premium EV brand under Geely Auto, officially launched its updated 007 series on Friday, offering upgraded configurations at lower prices to boost sales.
The two models, the updated Zeekr 007 and the updated 007 GT, share the same trim levels and corresponding prices.
Both feature a limited-time starting price of 193,900 yuan ($28,400), while their official suggested retail price is 203,900 yuan.
By comparison, the previous official starting price was 209,900 yuan for the Zeekr 007 and 202,900 yuan for the 007 GT.
Alongside the updated 007 series, Zeekr also rolled out the Zeekr 001 fifth-anniversary edition, which starts at 365,000 yuan.
The updated Zeekr 007 and 007 GT lineups have been upgraded to a more advanced 900-volt high-voltage architecture, enabling the vehicles to support a super-fast charging rate of up to 6C.
The new cars can charge from 10% to 80% in about 10 minutes and offer a driving range of up to 905 kilometers, making them among the longest-range models in the Chinese market.
Both new models come standard with LiDAR and are upgraded with the more powerful Nvidia Drive Thor-U smart driving chip.
Local media previously reported that the updated 007 GT might see an increase in its price due to surging costs for batteries and memory chips.
However, Zeekr has maintained the price competitiveness of the series despite facing supply chain cost pressures.
The Zeekr 001 fifth-anniversary edition focuses on extreme track performance, with the model capable of accelerating from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.91 seconds.
Its four-wheel-drive system can reach a peak output of 680 kW (925 Ps), with a top speed of 280 km/h.
The anniversary edition is equipped with a 103-kWh CATL Qilin Battery, offering a CLTC range of 680 kilometers and supporting 6C fast charging.
The official launch of these revamped models comes as the EV maker saw a strong rebound in its market sales in March.
Sales of the Zeekr brand reached 29,318 units in March, a year-on-year increase of 90.11%, which pushed its cumulative deliveries for the first quarter to 77,037 units.
