- The latest update to the Stelato S9 comes just four months after its previous refresh, while the updated S9T arrives only six months after its initial launch.
- Both vehicles feature upgraded 896-line LiDAR and new exterior color options, aiming to further attract younger consumers.

Stelato, a new brand jointly created by Huawei and Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group), has launched updated versions of its S9 sedan and S9T wagon to navigate fierce competition.
Huawei announced the official launch of the two models at a spring product event on Monday with starting prices for both set at 319,800 yuan ($46,370).
The updated Stelato S9 and S9T add new exterior color options to provide consumers with more personalized choices.
Both models come standard with a new generation of 896-channel image-grade LiDAR across the lineup to enhance the vehicles' environmental perception capabilities.
They are also equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4 smart driving system, which is designed to provide drivers with a more advanced assisted driving experience.
In terms of powertrains, the two models continue to offer consumers both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) options.
The BEV variants are built on an 800-volt high-voltage platform and come standard with a 100-kWh Giant Whale battery pack provided by Huawei.
This allows the BEV models to achieve a driving range of over 800 kilometers, and they can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes.
The EREV variants utilize Huawei's Xuexiao intelligent range-extender system, featuring a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine as the range extender.
The latest update to the Stelato S9 comes just four months after its previous refresh in November 2025, while the updated S9T arrives only six months after its September 2025 launch, highlighting Stelato's rapid model iteration to counter intense competition.
Stelato is one of the five auto brands under Huawei's HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) umbrella, currently with only the S9 and S9T on sale.
