- The Zeekr 8X pre-sales start at 376,800 yuan ($54,640), marking Zeekr's further expansion into the premium plug-in hybrid market.
- Equipped with a tri-motor system delivering up to 1,030 kW of combined power, the model is expected to begin mass deliveries in the second quarter.

Geely's premium electric vehicle (EV) brand Zeekr has started pre-sales for its second hybrid SUV, the 8X, further expanding its high-end lineup following the 9X SUV.
Zeekr introduced the 8X at an event on Monday evening, setting its starting presale price at 376,800 yuan ($54,640).
This marks the company's latest move to consolidate its premium market position in the fiercely competitive domestic market.
The Zeekr 8X offers consumers four trim levels, including Max, Ultra, Ultra+, and a special Yaoying edition, with pre-sales prices ranging from 376,800 yuan to 516,800 yuan.
Built on Geely's SEA-S super electric hybrid architecture, the vehicle features a 900-volt high-voltage system architecture.
It is equipped with a 2.0T engine with a maximum output of 205 kW, as well as a dual-motor or tri-motor system.
The tri-motor version delivers a combined output of up to 1,030 kW, enabling the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.96 seconds.
In terms of range, the vehicle is powered by a 70-kWh battery pack, offering a pure electric range of up to 410 kilometers under CLTC conditions. With a full tank and full charge, its comprehensive range reaches 1,416 kilometers.
For intelligent features, the Zeekr 8X is the first to be equipped with the new-generation G-ASD (Geely Afari Smart Driving) advanced driver assistance system.
Co-developed by Afari Technology and Geely, the system utilizes dual Nvidia Thor chips to deliver up to 1,400 TOPS of computing power.
The Zeekr 8X is expected to officially enter retail channels and begin mass deliveries to consumers in the second quarter of this year.
The model was originally scheduled for launch in the fourth quarter of 2025, but was delayed as Zeekr focused primarily on product updates for existing models in the second half of last year.
The Zeekr 8X is another premium product following the larger Zeekr 9X hybrid SUV, which was launched in September 2025.
The Zeekr 9X achieved over 10,000 deliveries in the single month of December last year, gaining solid initial market acceptance.
This helped push the Zeekr brand's monthly deliveries to a record 30,267 units in December, marking the first time the brand surpassed the 30,000-unit mark.
In addition to the Zeekr 8X, Zeekr will also launch an updated version of its flagship MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), the Zeekr 009, in the second quarter.
The Zeekr 009 will also be upgraded to a 900-volt high-voltage architecture and feature the Nvidia Drive Thor-U driver assistance chip.
