- Leapmotor will commence pre-sales for its all-new A10 compact SUV on March 26, with the top-tier model expected to be priced below 100,000 yuan ($14,490).
- Leapmotor is seeking to boost sales through new models while accelerating its global market expansion.

Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) will commence pre-sales for its new compact pure-electric SUV model A10 on March 26, following weak sales in February.
The Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker's chief operating officer Xu Jun revealed the plan on Weibo Tuesday, noting the model is arriving at Leapmotor showrooms across China.
The A10 is Leapmotor's first global strategic model built on its new A platform. Known as the B03X overseas, it debuted at the Brussels Motor Show in January.
The five-seat compact electric SUV, the first in Leapmotor's A series, measures 4,270 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm, according to previously published regulatory filings.
The new model will compete in the compact EV SUV segment against popular offerings like the BYD Yuan Up. Its top-spec variant is expected to retail for under 100,000 yuan ($14,490) in China.
Intelligent features will be a key highlight of the A10, which integrates Alibaba's Qwen AI large model to enhance interactive experiences.
The model boasts a maximum pure electric range of 505 kilometers and supports fast charging, capable of replenishing battery capacity from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes.
Xu also previewed on Tuesday that Leapmotor's D-series model are on the way. While he did not provide further details, he was apparently referring to the D19, a large SUV expected to launch in April.
The Stellantis-backed automaker is seeking to boost sales with new models after February deliveries fell 12.45% month-on-month to 28,067 units, impacted partly by the Chinese New Year holiday.
Leapmotor doubled its annual deliveries last year and is progressing toward its 2026 target of 1 million units.
