Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV, HKG: 9868) has started shipping the updated P7+ sedan to overseas markets following its launch last month.
The company officially commenced large-scale overseas shipments of the 2026 Xpeng P7+, it announced on Weibo Monday.
The P7+ was initially launched in China on November 7, 2024, with only battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants available at the time.
On January 8, Xpeng launched the updated P7+ in China, adding extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) options.
The updated P7+ was launched in Europe on January 9, with Xpeng saying at that time the model would be available in 36 countries and regions.
On January 9, Xpeng announced the P7+ reached its 100,000th production milestone, 14 months after the model's rollout.
Notably, Xpeng is manufacturing the model in Europe.
The 2026 Xpeng P7+ completed trial production at the Graz plant in Austria, the company announced on January 5.
Both BEV and EREV versions of the updated P7+ start at RMB 186,800 ($26,880) in China.
Xpeng delivered 20,011 vehicles in January, down 34.07% year-on-year and down 46.65% month-on-month, according to data released Sunday.
Xpeng aims to sell 550,000-600,000 vehicles this year, representing a 28%-40% increase from its 2025 sales of 429,400 units, according to a report last month by local media outlet 36Kr.
The company's global sales network has surpassed 1,000 outlets, expanding its international footprint to 60 countries.
