Onvo recently became the official partner of Shanghai Shenhua Football Club, the brand announced on Weibo on Wednesday.
Onvo will provide mobility services for Shenhua players, coaches, and staff during the 2026 Chinese Super League season.
Founded in 1993, Shenhua boasts over 30 years of history and is one of the founding teams of China's professional leagues.
The football club has accumulated over a dozen domestic and international championship titles, becoming a shared memory that has accompanied generations of Shanghai residents, Onvo emphasized.
As Nio's brand tailored for Chinese families, Onvo has actively partnered with well-known brands and institutions familiar to users since its launch, the brand said.
Onvo will collaborate with Shenhua to offer exclusive benefits including ticket lotteries, access to club fan open days, and ball boy experiences.
Nio Inc officially launched the Onvo brand on May 15, 2024, with its first model — the L60 five-seat mid-size SUV, launched on September 19, 2024.
On July 31 last year, Onvo rolled out its second model, the L90 large three-row SUV.
As a new mass-market brand, Onvo needs to expand its visibility to gain broader acceptance for its products.
Onvo delivered 9,154 vehicles in December, marking a 13.05% year-on-year decline and a 22.38% decrease from November, according to data released by Nio Inc on January 1.
Onvo delivered 107,808 vehicles in 2025.
