"The most anticipated car of 2026 is here!" Zeekr wrote, hinting the SUV will easily handle diverse roads and conditions.
Zeekr shared a poster on Weibo on December 31 to mark the end of 2025, featuring a rear detail of the camouflaged SUV model.
It did not mention the model name, but it is apparently the Zeekr 8X.
Zeekr first mentioned the 8X hybrid SUV during a May conference call, stating it would be launched in the fourth quarter 2025.
This plan was delayed as Zeekr focused on multiple model facelifts in the latter half of 2025.
Reports over recent months have suggested the 8X will be a premium offering.
Local automotive media outlet Yiche reported on December 3 that the Zeekr 8X is expected to debut in the first quarter 2026, with pricing starting around RMB 400,000 ($57,290) and the main sales range projected between RMB 450,000 and RMB 500,000.
The Zeekr 8X is poised to become Zeekr's second hybrid model following the Zeekr 9X.
The Zeekr 9X was launched on September 29 with a starting price of RMB 465,900, making it one of the most expensive models from a domestic Chinese brand.
The large SUV has seen strong initial adoption, delivering over 10,000 units in December alone. This propelled Zeekr's monthly deliveries to a record 30,267 vehicles, marking the brand's first time surpassing the 30,000-unit mark.
