- Nio president Qin Lihong delivered the first batch of new ES6 Milestone Edition vehicles to customers.
- Yesterday, Nio launched the ES6 Milestone Edition, priced higher than the standard ES6 model.

Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) has delivered its 300,000th ES6 electric SUV (sport utility vehicle), one day after the electric vehicle (EV) maker launched the ES6 Milestone Edition.
Today, the ES6 reached its 300,000th delivery milestone, with Nio co-founder and president Qin Lihong handing over the first batch of new ES6 Milestone Edition vehicles to customers, the company announced on Weibo.
Yesterday, Nio launched the ES6 Milestone Edition to commemorate the SUV's impending 300,000th delivery milestone.
The ES6 Milestone Edition starts at RMB 349,800 ($49,190), including a 100-kWh battery pack. This represents a RMB 11,800 increase -- or 3.49 percent -- over the standard ES6's starting price of RMB 338,000.

Under the BaaS (Battery as a Service) purchase plan, the ES6 Milestone Edition starts at RMB 241,800 with a monthly battery rental fee of RMB 1,128.
The standard ES6 under the BaaS plan starts at RMB 230,000 with the same monthly battery rental fee of RMB 1,128 for a 100-kWh pack.
The ES6 Milestone Edition features 20-inch wheels, Nomi Mate 3.0, premium front passenger seat, and a Moon-themed exterior package.
As Nio's second mass-produced vehicle following the ES8 SUV, the ES6 has been the EV maker's best-selling model for several years, significantly contributing to sales growth.
However, the SUV's position has been repeatedly overtaken by the ET5 Touring station wagon this year. Last month, the ES8 became Nio's most delivered model as production capacity increased.
The ES6 delivered 2,976 units last month, ranking as Nio's third-highest delivering model in October, trailing only the ES8's 6,703 units and the ET5 Touring's 4,526 units.
