The Alpha T5 EREV is Arcfox's first extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and the inaugural model equipped with BAIC's Shenqing extended-range system.

The EREV variants utilize a 1.5-liter engine as its range extender, paired with an electric motor delivering a maximum power output of 200 kW. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

The Alpha T5 EREV features lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a 215-km range, achieving a combined range of 1,215 km when fully fueled and charged.

The updated Alpha T5 BEV variants offer two motor options with maximum power outputs of 185 kW and 200 kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.

The BEV variants utilize batteries supplied by CATL (HKG: 3750), offering ranges of 560 km, 660 km, or 705 km.

The updated Alpha T5 BEV is built on an 800-volt high-voltage platform and supports 5C ultra-fast charging.

Arcfox, one of China's earliest EV startups, previously offered only BEV models. It reported monthly sales figures in 2020 but has disclosed minimal sales data since 2021 amid weak performance.

Its previous new model launch occurred just one month prior, rolling out the T1 compact EV on September 11 with a starting price of only RMB 62,800.
