Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) has brought its next-generation P7 to Europe, just as deliveries of the electric sedan have commenced in China's domestic market.
"The Next P7 makes its European premiere, right here in Munich -- where stunning design meets cutting-edge technology to redefine electric driving," Xpeng announced today on X.
The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker will host a global livestream on September 8 at 9:20 am GMT+2.
The next-generation P7 will debut at the IAA Mobility 2025 event in Munich, Germany, starting September 8. Several other Chinese automakers, including Leapmotor (HKG: 9863), have previously announced plans to showcase their models at the event.
Xpeng officially launched the next-generation P7 on August 27 in China, introducing significant updates to its flagship electric sedan. These include a redesigned exterior and the standard integration of the company's in-house developed Turing AI chip for smart driving.
The model comes with three Turing chips, delivering an effective computing power of 2,250 TOPS. Two Turing chips are dedicated to smart driving, while one powers the cockpit services.
Xpeng offers four variants of the new-generation P7, starting at RMB 219,800 ($30,770), RMB 239,800, RMB 259,800, and RMB 301,800.
These prices undercut Tesla's (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model 3 electric sedan, which starts at RMB 235,500 to RMB 339,500 in China.
Xpeng commenced nationwide deliveries of the new-generation P7 on August 28, the day after its launch.
The company's chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng also placed an order for the sedan. Earlier today, Xpeng announced that company president Wang Fengying delivered the vehicle to Mr. He.

Xpeng delivered 37,709 vehicles in August, marking a record high for the second consecutive month. This represents a 168.66 percent year-on-year increase and a 2.70 percent month-on-month rise from July.
In September, Xpeng's monthly deliveries would surpass the 40,000-unit mark, Mr. He said on Weibo on September 1.
