Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) will begin pre-sales of its large hybrid SUV (sport utility vehicle) Zeekr 9X on August 29, the first day of the 2025 Chengdu auto show, with an event scheduled to begin at 10 am Beijing time on the same day, the electric vehicle (EV) maker announced today.
The auto show will take place from August 29 to September 7 at the Western China Expo City in Chengdu, Sichuan province. August 29 is media day, and the general public can attend from September 1 to 7. Zeekr's booth is located at H1103 in Hall 11.
The Zeekr 9X is Zeekr's first hybrid model, featuring a 2.0T hybrid engine and a full-stack 900-volt hybrid high-voltage architecture, the company said.
The six-seat full-size luxury SUV measures 5,239 mm in length, 2,019 mm in width, and 1,819 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,169 mm.
Earlier this month, rumors suggested that the model's price would be around RMB 550,000 ($76,910).
The Zeekr 9X is the first model built on the SEA-S platform, featuring three silicon carbide motors with a peak output power of 1,030 kW and a maximum horsepower of 1,400, capable of delivering supercar-level acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds.
Its 2.0T engine has a peak power output of 205 kW and a thermal efficiency exceeding 46 percent.
The model is equipped with a 70-kWh ternary lithium battery, providing a range of over 380 kilometers.
It supports a charging rate of up to 6C, enabling it to charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in about 9 minutes and from 10 percent to 80 percent in 10.3 minutes.
