The organizers of the 2025 Chengdu auto show have released the detailed booth layout today as the event is set to start next week.
This year's event will cover an exhibition area of 220,000 square meters, featuring over 1,600 models from nearly 120 brands, according to the organizers.
The auto show will take place from August 29 to September 7 at the Western China Expo City in Chengdu, Sichuan province. August 29 is media day, while the general public can attend from September 1 to 7.
Chinese electric vehicle (EV) startups including Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO), Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV), Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI), and Leapmotor (HKG: 9863), as well as automotive giants such as BYD (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) and GWM, will participate. Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) will continue to be absent.
The Nio brand will share a booth with its sub-brand Firefly at H405 in Hall 4, at the opposite side of Mercedes-Benz's booth.
The company's other sub-brand, Onvo, has an independent booth at H1405 in Hall 14, which is opposite to BMW and Mini.
Xpeng's booth is at H1106 in Hall 11, Li Auto at H1501 in Hall 15, and Xiaomi EV at H1607 in Hall 16.
Huawei's HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) business has a booth at H304 in Hall 3.
BYD Group occupies the entire Hall 9, showcasing models from brands including BYD, Denza, Fang Cheng Bao, and Yangwang, as well as technologies such as its God's Eye and 1-MW ultra-fast charging.
The Chengdu auto show is held annually and has become one of China's largest automotive exhibitions. The Shanghai auto show and Beijing auto show are held every two years.
