Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) has launched the Zeekr 7X in Thailand, bringing the family-oriented SUV (sport utility vehicle) to another overseas market.
The Zeekr 7X is available in three variants in Thailand -- Standard RWD, Long Range RWD, and Performance AWD -- with starting prices of 1,399,000 Thai baht (about $43,050), 1,599,000 Thai baht, and 1,799,000 Thai baht, according to a statement released yesterday.
To date, the Zeekr 7X has been launched in Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Australia, and Thailand.
The SUV was launched in the Chinese mainland on September 20, 2024, marking Zeekr's second model targeting the mainstream electric vehicle (EV) market following the Zeekr 007 sedan.
The Zeekr 7X is available in three variants in the Chinese mainland, with starting prices of RMB 229,900 ($32,000), RMB 249,900, and RMB 269,900.
In Thailand, Zeekr currently offers three models.
The company launched the right-hand drive version of the Zeekr 009 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) in Thailand in March 2024 and the right-hand drive version of the Zeekr X compact SUV in July last year.
Zeekr delivered 16,977 vehicles in July, representing a year-on-year increase of 8.44 percent and a month-on-month increase of 1.65 percent, according to data released earlier this month.
The Zeekr 7X was the brand's best-selling model in July, with 6,922 units delivered, accounting for 40.77 percent of Zeekr's total deliveries, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
