- Xiaomi EV launched the YU7 on June 26 and began deliveries of the SUV on July 6.

Xiaomi EV delivered over 30,000 vehicles in July, the company announced today on Weibo.
As usual, Xiaomi EV did not disclose specific figures, despite this being a new monthly delivery record.
On June 26, Xiaomi officially launched the YU7, its first electric SUV (sport utility vehicle), which is a competitor to the Tesla Model Y.
The YU7 received 200,000 firm orders within the first three minutes of going on sale and over 240,000 locked-in orders within 18 hours, Xiaomi previously announced.
On July 6, Xiaomi EV began deliveries of the YU7.
The influx of orders has left Xiaomi EV facing unprecedented factory capacity constraints.
Consumers who order the YU7 now will have to wait up to 59 weeks for delivery, according to information on Xiaomi EV's mobile app.
Xiaomi EV began large-scale recruitment for its second-phase factory at the beginning of last month in preparation for mass production.
