The electric vehicle (EV) maker announced the latest milestone today, stating that it has provided an average of about 97,000 battery swap services per day so far this month.
On average, a vehicle leaves Nio's battery swap stations with a fully charged battery every 0.88 seconds, it said.
Nio's charging map shows that it currently has 3,405 battery swap stations in China, with 1,000 located along highways.
Nio's battery swap stations have cumulatively provided users with over 4.2 billion kWh of electricity, enough to power 2.11 million households for a year, according to the company.
Currently, over half of the power sourced for Nio vehicles comes from battery swap stations, it said.
Compared to charging at public charging facilities, battery swap services have cumulatively saved users about 6,703 hours of time, averaging 109 hours per user, Nio said.
