Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) maintained strong vehicle deliveries last month, bringing the first-half delivery volume to exceed the full-year total of last year.
The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker delivered 34,611 vehicles in June, a year-on-year increase of 224.44 percent and a month-on-month increase of 3.24 percent, according to data released today.
This marks the eighth consecutive month since November 2024 that Xpeng's monthly deliveries have exceeded 30,000 units.
In the second quarter, Xpeng delivered a record 103,181 vehicles, within the guidance range of 102,000 to 108,000 units. The quarterly delivery volume increased by 241.58 percent year-on-year and by 9.76 percent compared to the first quarter.
The company delivered 197,189 vehicles in the first half of 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 279.01 percent and exceeding its total deliveries for the entire year of 2024, which stood at 190,068 vehicles.
Xpeng did not disclose specific delivery figures for its different models. Its models currently available for sale include the Mona M03 sedan, P7+ sedan, P7i sedan, G6 SUV (sport utility vehicle), G9 SUV, and X9 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).
On May 28, Xpeng launched the Max variant of the Mona M03, introducing enhanced smart driving capabilities.
The company will officially launch its new SUV, the G7, on July 3, with a launch event scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm that evening.
The G7 made its debut on June 11 and began pre-sales, securing over 10,000 pre-orders within the first 46 minutes.
On June 26, Xpeng announced the launch of the right-hand drive version of the X9 in Indonesia, with local production of the MPV set to begin in Jakarta in July -- its first overseas localized production project.
As of June, Xpeng has entered over 40 countries and regions globally, the company said today.
Xpeng management previously indicated a goal for half of future sales to come from overseas markets.
