- Cumulative deliveries of the Li L7 exceeded 290,000 units, the most for Li Auto's L-series.
- Li Auto will increase its bet on the BEV segment by launching 2 i-series all-electric SUVs this year.

Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) has seen cumulative deliveries of its L-series extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models surpass 1 million units as the new market it dominates continues to expand.
The Chinese automaker announced the milestone today, saying it was 31 months after it delivered its first L-series car.
Li Auto is one of the major EREV players in China and one of the earliest players in the space.
Its L-series EREVs are all SUVs (sport utility vehicles), including the Li L6, Li L7, Li L8 and Li L9.
The company's first model was the Li One, an EREV that was discontinued in 2022.
In addition to the L-series, Li Auto's current on-sale models include the all-electric Li Mega MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).
The company will officially launch the Li i8, its first all-electric SUV, in July and will also roll out the Li i6 electric SUV in the second half of the year.
Cumulative deliveries of the Li L6, which began in April 2024, exceeded 230,000 units, Li Auto said on March 31.
Cumulative deliveries of the Li L7, which began deliveries in March 2023, exceeded 290,000 units.
Cumulative deliveries of the Li L8, which began deliveries in November 2022, exceeded 220,000 units.
Cumulative deliveries of the Li L9, which began delivery in August 2022, exceeded 250,000 units.
EREV models are EV models with an engine. In contrast to conventional hybrids, their engines are not involved in driving the vehicle, but are used only as generators to charge the batteries.
Over the past few years, EREVs have been favored by a large number of consumers. Many companies that originally produced only battery electric vehicles (BEVs) have begun offering them or plan to offer them as well.
The L-series EREVs have accumulated 22.46 billion kilometers, including 13.94 billion kilometers without the engine on, the company said today.
Li Auto delivered 36,674 vehicles in March, up 26.53 percent year-on-year and up 39.64 percent from February, according to data it released yesterday.
The company did not mention the breakdown of deliveries by different models.
Li Auto delivered 92,864 vehicles in the first quarter, up 15.50 percent year-on-year, but down 41.48 percent from the fourth quarter of 2024.
Cumulative Li Auto deliveries through March 31 were 1,226,736 vehicles.
