This is an increase of 267.88 percent compared to 9,026 in the same period last year and an increase of 9.04 percent compared to 30,453 in February.

In the first quarter, Xpeng delivered 94,008 vehicles, an increase of 330.81 percent compared to 21,821 in the same period last year.

The quarterly delivery volume exceeded the upper end of Xpeng's previous guidance range of 91,000 to 93,000 vehicles.

In March, Xpeng's XNGP (Xpeng navigation guided pilot) smart driving function's monthly active user penetration rate reached 86 percent, the company noted.

Xpeng did not mention the performance of its different models, but emphasized that it launched the 2025 G6 and G9 SUVs (sport utility vehicles) on March 13.

Both upgraded models come standard with 5C AI batteries and Turing AI-powered smart driving features across all trims, the company said.

The 2025 G6 and G9 both bring significant configuration upgrades and price reductions, as previously reported by CnEVPost.

The starting price of the 2025 G6 is RMB 176,800 yuan ($24,360), a 11.56 percent decrease from its predecessor; the starting price of the 2025 G9 is RMB 248,800 yuan, a 5.72 percent decrease from its predecessor.

In addition to these two SUV model updates, Xpeng's new sedan models Mona M03 and P7+, which were launched a few months ago, seem to continue to perform well.

Yesterday, Xpeng announced that it saw the 100,000th unit of the Mona M03 roll off the production line, just seven months after the model was launched.

From December to February, the monthly deliveries of the Mona M03 exceeded 15,000 units.

On March 27, Xpeng said that cumulative deliveries of the P7+ exceeded 40,000 units after four months on the market.
