Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) has shared more images of its new model, the Zeekr 007 GT, after first teasing the model yesterday.
The electric vehicle (EV) maker shared three new images of the Zeekr 007 GT on Weibo today, showing for the first time what the shooting brake-style model looks like in real life.
The Zeekr 007 GT is built for touring and is scheduled to be launched in the second quarter of this year, Zeekr wrote on Weibo.
The company shared the first three images of the Zeekr 007 GT on Weibo yesterday, saying that GT stands for Grand Tour.
CnEVPost learnt that the Zeekr 007 GT will be named the Zeekr 7 GT in overseas markets.
It is Zeekr's second shooting brake model after the Zeekr 001, as it consolidates its position in the shooting brake segment.
Zeekr would launch three new models in 2025, one in each of the second through fourth quarters, Zeekr CEO Andy An said during a January 2 call about this year's sales targets with Geely Automobile Holdings (HKG: 0175).
Zeekr would launch a shooting brake model based on the Zeekr 007 electric sedan in the second quarter, An, who is also president of Geely, said at the time.
The Zeekr 001 shooting brake, which was initially launched on April 15, 2021, is Zeekr's first model.
The Zeekr 001 has been one of Zeekr's main sellers since its launch, delivering 76,246 units in 2023, contributing 64 percent of the 118,685 Zeekr units delivered in the year.
In January-November 2024, the Zeekr 001 delivered 92,289 units, contributing 47.34 percent of Zeekr deliveries in the same period, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
Launched on December 27, 2023, the Zeekr 007 electric sedan is Zeekr's first model to target the mainstream EV market.
The Zeekr 007 delivered 44,451 units from January-November 2024, contributing 22.80 percent of Zeekr deliveries in the same period, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
There is no pricing information for the Zeekr 007 GT, while the Zeekr 007 sedan starts at RMB 209,900 ($28,630) in China.
