The latest figure means that Nio added 679 battery swap stations in 2024, considering it ended 2023 with 2,316 stations. This lags behind the previously announced plan to add 1,000 stations in 2024.

On December 29, Nio said it reached its target of having 1,000 battery swap stations available to its sub-brand Onvo by the end of 2024.

To date, Nio has accumulated about 61.53 million battery swaps, according to its charging map.

The company also added 30 supercharging stations today, bringing the total number of the facility in China to 2,592, with 11,976 charging piles.

Nio Inc delivered 20,575 vehicles in November, including 15,493 under the Nio main brand and 5,082 under Onvo.

The company guided last month that fourth-quarter vehicle deliveries would be in the range of 72,000 to 75,000, meaning that it could deliver at least 30,449 vehicles in December.

Insurance registrations for Nio-branded vehicles in China were 6,500 in the week of December 23 to December 29, up 20.37 percent from 5,400 in the previous week, according to data shared by Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) earlier today.

Onvo had a record 4,200 insurance registrations last week, doubling the previous week's 2,100.
