In November, China's installed base of power batteries was a record 67.2 GWh, up 49.7 percent year-on-year and up 13.5 percent from October, according to data released today by the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance (CABIA).

installed 28.7 GWh of power batteries in November, continuing to rank first with a 42.71 percent share, but down 0.07 percentage points from October's 42.78 percent share.

's power battery installed capacity was 16.87 GWh in November, ranking second with a 25.11 percent share, a decrease of 1.62 percentage points from 26.73 percent in October.

CALB ranked third in November with a 6.67 percent share of 4.48 GWh of installed power batteries, up 0.06 percentage points from 6.61 percent in October.

Gotion High-tech ranked fourth with 3.56 GWh of installed capacity and a 5.29 percent share in November.

China's lithium ternary battery installed capacity in November was 13.6 GWh, accounting for 20.2 percent of the total installations, down 13.5 percent year-on-year, but up 11.6 percent from October.

Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery installed capacity was 53.6 GWh, accounting for 79.7 percent of total installed capacity, up 84.0 percent year-on-year and up 14.0 percent from October.

CATL, CALB, and LG Energy Solution were the top three in terms of installed capacity of ternary batteries in November, with shares of 67.30 percent, 12.25 percent, and 7.39 percent, respectively.

In the LFP battery market, CATL, BYD and Gotion were the top three in terms of installed capacity in November, with shares of 36.50 percent, 31.49 percent and 6.28 percent respectively.

China produced 117.8 GWh of power and other batteries in November, up 33.3 percent year-on-year and up 4.2 percent from October.

Ternary batteries produced 24.2 GWh in November, down 12.9 percent year-on-year but up 3.3 percent from October. LFP batteries produced 93.4 GWh, up 54.6 percent year-on-year and up 4.4 percent from October.

China exported 12.5 GWh of power batteries in November, including 8.5 GWh of ternary batteries and 3.9 GWh of LFP batteries.
