Zeekr has completed the first 100 deliveries of the Zeekr X in Hong Kong, with local deliveries of the Zeekr 009 MPV set to begin soon.
Zeekr (NYSE: ZK), the premium electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary of Geely Holding Group, has begun deliveries of the Zeekr X in Hong Kong, after making the compact SUV (sport utility vehicle) model available in the city in July.
Zeekr completed the first 100 deliveries of the Zeekr X in Hong Kong, and local deliveries of the Zeekr 009 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) will begin soon, the EV maker announced yesterday.
The company's after-sales service center in Hong Kong's Tsuen Wan district started operations in November and is its third store in Hong Kong after Taikoo Shing and Wan Chai, Zeekr said.
Before the end of the year, Zeekr will add a new store in Kowloon, it said.
Zeekr launched the right-hand drive version of the Zeekr X in Hong Kong on July 17 with local distribution partner Kam Lung Motor Group, and gave the all-new Zeekr 009 its debut.
The compact SUV is offered in Hong Kong in two variants -- a single-motor rear-wheel drive version, and a dual-motor four-wheel drive version, with starting prices of HK$249,900 ($32,100), and HK$269,900, respectively.
Based on Geely's Sustainable Electric Architecture (SEA), the Zeekr X measures 4,450 mm in length, 1,836 mm in width and 1,572 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.
The model was initially launched in the Chinese mainland on April 12, 2023, and on July 1 Zeekr launched the 2025 Zeekr X in the mainland, with a current starting price of RMB 149,000 ($20,600).
The updated Zeekr 009 MPV and its right-hand drive version were launched in Hong Kong on July 19, marking the first time it has held a major product launch in a city outside the Chinese mainland.
Initially launched on November 1, 2022, the Zeekr 009 is Zeekr's second model after the Zeekr 001, with deliveries beginning in February 2023.
Zeekr delivered 25,049 vehicles in October, up 91.55 percent year-on-year and up 17.42 percent from September, according to the company's November 1 release.
In the January-October period, Zeekr delivered 167,922 vehicles, data compiled by CnEVPost showed.
To date, Zeek has entered more than 40 major international markets, including Sweden, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Mexico and Egypt.
