Zeekr said its cumulative vehicle deliveries exceed 350,000 units, meaning it has delivered 10,494 vehicles so far this month.
Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) has surpassed 350,000 cumulative vehicle deliveries, the electric vehicle (EV) maker announced today on Weibo.
The premium EV subsidiary of Geely Holding Group delivered a record 21,333 vehicles in September, bringing cumulative deliveries since inception to 339,506 vehicles, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
That means Zeekr has delivered 10,494 vehicles so far this month.
Zeekr was founded in March 2021 and its first model, the Zeekr 001, was launched on April 17, 2021, and deliveries began in October 2021.
In addition to the Zeekr 001, the company's current models on sale are the Zeekr 007, Zeekr 009, Zeekr X, and Zeekr 7X.
The Zeekr 001 shooting brake, Zeekr 009 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), and Zeekr X SUV (sport utility vehicle) are aimed at niche markets, while the Zeekr 007 sedan and Zeekr 7X are aimed at the mainstream EV market.
The Zeekr 7X was launched on September 20 and deliveries started on September 21. Zeekr is currently pinning high hopes on the model, a Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model Y competitor.
The Zeekr 7X topped 6,000 locked-in orders in the first 24 hours after launch, and delivered more than 5,000 units in the 10 days after deliveries began, Zeekr previously said.
As of October 7, firm orders for the Zeekr 7X topped 20,000 units, with deliveries expected to exceed 10,000 units in the first full delivery month, according to an October 8 statement shared with CnEVPost.
On October 15, Zeekr announced that deliveries of the electric SUV topped 10,000 units, 25 days after the model's launch.
In the January-September period, Zeekr delivered 142,873 vehicles, an 80.79 percent year-on-year increase. It is aiming to deliver 230,000 vehicles in the whole of 2024, double the 2023 figure.
