Zeekr delivered a record 55,003 vehicles in the third quarter, up 51.13 percent year-on-year and up 0.35 percent from the second quarter.
Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) delivered 21,333 vehicles in September, surpassing June's previous record of 20,106 vehicles for a new high and marking the second month above the 20,000 mark, according to data it released today.
This represents a 76.99 percent increase year-on-year and an 18.42 percent increase from August.
In the third quarter, Zeekr delivered a record 55,003 vehicles, up 51.13 percent year-on-year and up 0.35 percent from the second quarter.
The company had not previously provided quarterly delivery guidance, but had said it was targeting 2024 deliveries of 230,000 vehicles.
In the January-September period, Zeekr delivered 142,873 vehicles, up 80.79 percent year-on-year. That means to meet its full-year delivery target for the year, it would need to deliver an average of about 29,000 vehicles per month in the fourth quarter.
At the end of September, cumulative deliveries since Zeekr's inception stood at 339,506 vehicles, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
The company launched the Zeekr 7X, another Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model Y competitor, on September 20, with deliveries beginning on September 21.
The five-seat SUV has a starting price of RMB 229,900 ($32,590), lower than the Model Y's RMB 249,900 starting price in China.
Zeekr is expected to launch a new model in the fourth quarter, the Zeekr Mix, a five-seater with an MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) like appearance.
The Zeekr Mix measures 4,688 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width and 1,755 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,008 mm, according to a previous regulatory filing.
Zeekr launches 009 MPV in Thailand, deliveries to start in Oct
