In August, China's power battery installations amounted to 47.2 GWh, up 35.3 percent year-on-year and up 13.5 percent from July, according to data released today by the China Automotive Battery Innovation Alliance (CABIA).

Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries were installed at 35 GWh, accounting for 74.2 percent of the total, up 45.6 percent year-on-year and up 16.1 percent from July.
