The 2025 Zeekr 007 has variants with Zeekr's next-generation battery packs that can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in 10.5 minutes, which Zeekr said is the fastest charging speed yet.
Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) has updated two main models, both just about six months after the launch of their predecessors, in an effort to boost sales with enhanced features in a market where competition is fierce.
The electric vehicle (EV) maker today launched the 2025 Zeekr 007 sedan and the 2025 Zeekr 001 shooting brake, with starting prices stable compared with their respective predecessors, while both bringing enhanced specifications.
Both updated models are available for order from now, with deliveries all set to begin on August 14.
2025 Zeekr 007
The 2025 Zeekr 007 is available in four variants, including two single-motor rear-wheel-drive versions as well as two dual-motor four-wheel-drive versions, with a starting price of RMB 209,900 ($29,330), RMB 229,900, RMB 229,900, and RMB 299,900 respectively.

Two variants of the 2025 Zeekr 007 feature Zeekr's second-generation Golden Battery with a capacity of 75 kWh, which provides a CLTC range of up to 688 kilometers.
Zeekr unveiled the Golden Battery on December 14 last year, which is based on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry, the same chemistry system used in BYD's signature Blade Battery. The Zeekr 007 is the first variant to feature the battery pack.
The second-generation Golden Battery charges up to 30 percent faster than its predecessor, with a maximum charge multiplier of 5.5 C, outperforming all current mass-produced lithium ternary batteries, Zeekr said.
The new pack is capable of charging from 10 percent to 80 percent in 10.5 minutes, or adding 482 kilometers of CLTC range, which Zeekr said is the fastest charging speed of any mass-produced battery to date.
The Zeekr 007 with this pack can get 265 kilometers of CLTC range on a 5-minute charge, and a 15-minute charge adds 582 kilometers to the range.
The 2025 Zeekr 007 comes standard with LiDAR and two Nvidia Orin X chips, and the smart driving system has been upgraded from its predecessor SEA Intelligent Driving 1.0 to SEA Intelligent Driving 2.0, which delivers more powerful driver assistance.
Zeekr will begin delivering NZP (Navigation Zeekr Pilot) functionality that does not rely on HD maps by the end of this year, and plans to begin delivering the more powerful NZP+ functionality in the second half of 2025.

The lowest priced variant is a new addition, while the prices of the other four variants remain the same as the ones previously on sale.
The entry-level version of the 2025 Zeekr 001 continues to use the smart driving solution from Mobileye, while the other four variants are all upgraded to the Zeekr's SEA Intelligent Drive 2.0 system, with the Intelligent Drive hardware comprising of a LiDAR as well as two Nvidia Orin X chips.
The key specifications of the upgraded Zeekr 001 remain the same as its predecessor, including the continuation of battery packs with capacities of 95 kWh and 100 kWh, and the availability of single- and dual-motor options.
The 2025 Zeekr 001's most powerful variant is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.3 seconds, and its longest-range variant boasts a 750-kilometer CLTC range.
All of Zeekr's models are battery electric vehicles (BEVs), and apart from the Zeekr 007 and Zeekr 001, it also sells the Zeekr X compact SUV (sport utility vehicle), Zeekr 009 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).
The Zeekr 007 and Zeekr 001 are Zeekr's main sellers and their upgrades are important for the company to achieve its full-year sales targets.
Zeekr's full-year 2024 delivery target is 230,000 units, double the 2023 level, the company previously said.
In the January-July period, Zeekr delivered 103,525 vehicles, which means that it will need to deliver an average of about 25,000 vehicles per month in the remaining months if it is to meet its annual target.
Zeekr said on August 1 that it aimed to see peak deliveries of 30,000 units in a single month in the fourth quarter.
The Zeekr 001 has been Zeekr's main seller, albeit aimed at a niche market. The shooting brake model delivered 76,246 units in 2023, contributing 64 percent of the 118,685 units Zeekr delivered for the year.
