Nio (NYSE: NIO) has published an operational report for its vehicle replenishment system for the month of May, showcasing user habits.

In May, Nio provided 2.11 million battery swap services, according to information released today by the Nio App.

Nio's battery swap stations provided an average of 68,084 services per day in May, with a vehicle getting a fully charged battery via battery swap every 1.26 seconds, the company said.

In April, Nio's battery swap stations provided an average of 65,779 services per day, according to information released by the company last month.

On average, each Nio user used the battery swap service six times in May, with each time taking about three minutes, Nio said today.

Nio added 16 battery swap stations in China in May, bringing the number to 2,427 at the end of May, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

By the end of May, Nio had accumulated about 45.24 million battery swap services since the service became available.

To date, 80.1 percent of Nio owners can find a battery swap station within 3 kilometers of their home or office.

The company also had 2,270 supercharging stations in China at the end of May, providing 10,372 charging piles, and 1,594 destination charging stations, providing 12,223 charging piles.

For Nio customers, 55.4 percent of the energy they replenished their vehicles in May came from battery swap stations, 23.06 percent from home chargers, 17.95 percent from third-party charging stalls and 3.56 percent from Nio public chargers.

The company added 503 new charging stalls in May, bringing the number to 22,595.

Nio provided 1.89 million charging services in May and cumulatively provided about 39 million charging services through the end of May, with 84.99 percent of those orders serving non-Nio branded vehicles, according to the company.

Cumulatively, Nio's charging facilities have served more than 190 brands of EVs to date.

Nio provided 18,312 battery upgrades in May, bringing the cumulative number of such services delivered to 232,026.

It delivered 20,544 vehicles in May, an increase of 233.78 percent year-on-year and up 31.52 percent from April, according to data released on June 1.

At the end of May, Nio's cumulative deliveries since inception stood at 515,811 vehicles.
