Nio (NYSE: NIO) continued to advance its store and infrastructure deployment in July, adding nearly 10 showrooms and about 100 battery swap stations worldwide.
Nio added two new Nio Houses -- its flagship showrooms -- in July, all located in China, data released by the company today showed.
As of July 31, Nio had 130 Nio Houses worldwide, including 124 in China and six in Europe.
The company opened four new Nio Spaces -- its smaller showrooms -- in July, all in China.
As of July 31, Nio had 282 Nio Spaces worldwide, including 275 in China and seven in Europe.
In July, Nio added four new service centers, all located in China. That brings the total number of the facility to 310, with 261 in China and 49 overseas.
Nio also added three new delivery centers in China in July, bringing the total number to 58.
Nio added 98 battery swap stations in July, including 95 in China and three overseas.
At the end of July, Nio had 1,659 battery swap stations globally, with 1,638 in China and 21 overseas. The company has 449 such facilities located along highways.
Nio also added 125 new charging stations in July, bringing the number to 2,900, of which 2,892 are in China and eight are overseas.
Nio's charging map added 19,681 new third-party chargers in July, bringing the total to more than 1.26 million, including more than 500,000 overseas.
The EV maker is expected to announce its July vehicle delivery figures later today, and there's currently plenty of chatter on Chinese social media about the number expected to exceed 20,000 units.
