However, AITO's own cumulative delivery figures as of July 31 were "more than 26,348 units," and it's unclear why they don't match the historical figures.

AITO is a premium car brand launched by Seres on December 2 last year, with strong backing from Huawei.

On December 23 last year, Richard Yu, Huawei's managing director and CEO of its intelligent vehicle solutions business unit, unveiled the AITO M5, which uses extended-range technology similar to 's Li ONE as well as the Li L9.

On July 27, Yu unveiled that AITO's first all-electric model, the AITO M5 EV, is available for pre-order, with the official launch date set for September.

Consumers can reserve the AITO M5 EV by paying RMB 1,000 ($150), and its exact price is unknown at this time. For reference, the current price range for the extended-range version of the model is RMB 259,800 to RMB 331,800 after subsidies.

In addition to the AITO M5, Huawei's Yu unveiled on July 4 AITO's new SUV, the AITO M7, a large new energy SUV that also uses extended-range technology.

AITO is offering three versions of the M7 with starting prices of RMB 319,800, 339,800 and 379,800 respectively.

AITO M7 has been on display in Huawei's stores since July 4, with test drives opening on July 23 and deliveries beginning in August.
