Xpeng Motors is one of the most aggressive car companies in China after and in building energy replenishment facilities.

Xpeng said Monday it put 111 supercharging stations into operation in November, bringing the total to 661, up about 20 percent from October.

That adds 70 cities to the Xpeng-branded supercharging stations' coverage, which now totals 228 cities in China.

In the future, Xpeng-branded supercharging stations will cover 337 cities in China, the company said.

Xpeng typically announces the progress of its replenishment facilities once a month, in contrast to Xpeng's local counterpart Nio, which announces that progress daily.

Data monitored by CnEVPost shows that as of December 20, Nio had 738 battery swap stations, 565 supercharging stations offering 3,140 charging piles and 604 destination charging stations offering 3,348 charging piles in China.

At the Nio Day 2021 event held in Suzhou on December 18, Nio said it plans to have more than 1,300 battery swap stations, more than 6,000 supercharging stations and more than 10,000 destination charging stations by the end of 2022.
