There's a reason why NIO has a very high level of user loyalty.
NIO previously had a program that incentivized owners with resources to provide service to other owners, and now the company has upgraded the program.
At the NIO Day 2021 event on December 18, William Li, founder, chairman and CEO of NIO, announced that the company will support the Owner Benefit Partner program with 80 million NIO Credits.
NIO Credit is a form of NIO's user reward system, which can be used to make purchases at the NIO Life online store or used for some services related to vehicles. 1 NIO Credit is equivalent to RMB 0.1 yuan. And the 80 million NIO Credits are equivalent to RMB 8 million ($1.25 million).
"If you are running your own business and are happy to meet people, you are welcome to join NIO Owner Benefit Partners," NIO said in a post in its app.
Owner Benefit Partners is a platform-based program co-created by users and shared resources unique to the NIO community, the post says, adding that participating owners share benefits with NIO users by offering their own quality resources.
"If you have exclusive resources and hospitality that you are willing to share with the community's users at a benefit price, it is possible for you to become a benefits partner," NIO said.
So far, more than 200 users have become owner benefit partners, involving more than 500 stores, according to NIO.
NIO will use 80 million NIO Credits to incentivize the sharing of resources to share a pleasurable life, the article said, adding that the details of the program will be announced early next year.
