Even though November is not quite over yet, Voyah, Dongfeng Motor's premium electric vehicle (EV) brand, has already been the first to report delivery figures for the month.
Voyah delivered 1,139 Voyah FREE SUVs - the company's only model currently on sale - in November, up 13 percent from October, figures it released today show.
Deliveries of the Voyah FREE began in August, with this month marking the model's fourth delivery month. Cumulative deliveries of the model to date stand at 3,461 units.
Pre-orders for the Voyah FREE opened on March 31, offering the same extended-range technology version as Li Auto's Li ONE and an all-electric version with starting prices of RMB 313,600 ($47,700) and RMB 333,600, respectively.
The Voyah FREE has a length, width and height of 4905/1950/1690 mm and a wheelbase of 2955 mm, slightly smaller than the Li ONE and Nio ES8.
The model rolled off the production line in volume on June 30.
Voyah unveiled an MPV on November 17, positioning it as "the world's first large luxury electric MPV. This is the brand's second model after the Voyah FREE SUV.
Based on Voyah's ESSA EV architecture, the vehicle measures 5,315/1,980/1,810mm in length, width and height and has a wheelbase of 3,200mm.
Voyah did not announce power specifications for the MPV, but said it will be available in an electric-only version and a version with extended-range technology, similar to the Voyah FREE SUV.
The vehicle will offer intelligent electric four-wheel drive and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, making it "the fastest MPV in the world," the company said.
