Great Wall Motor's electric vehicle (EV) brand Ora sold 13,235 vehicles in October, up 65 percent year-on-year and up about 4 percent from September, the company said in figures released Monday.
So far this year, Ora has sold a cumulative 97,966 electric vehicles, up 207 percent from a year ago.
The Ora Good Cat sold 7,845 units in October, up 54.3 percent from September and a single-month sales high. Cumulative sales for the model from January to October were 31,391 units.
Great Wall Motor sold 112,069 vehicles in October, including 14,074 units sold overseas, the data showed.
From January to October, Great Wall Motor sold a total of 996,114 vehicles, up 22.0 percent year-on-year, with 112,020 units sold overseas.
The Ora Good Cat model was officially launched in Thailand on October 29, marking the model's debut in the overseas market.
The Ora Good Cat is available in Thailand in three versions, TECH, PRO and ULTRA, with NEDC ranges of 400 km, 400 km and 500 km, and starting prices of Baht 989,000 ($29,700), Baht 1,059,000 and Baht 1,199,000, respectively.
This price is higher than Ora Good Cat's selling price of RMB 103,900 (US$16,200) - 160,900 in China.
