Geely is aiming for 3.65 million sales by 2025, , with electric vehicles from its brands including Zeekr accounting for more than 30 percent, the company said in its first-half earnings report on Wednesday.
Geely wants to be No. 1 in China in terms of market share by 2025. Zeekr aims to reach 650,000 units sold by then and have a top-three global share of the premium electric car market.
Geely's revenue for the first half of the year was RMB 45 billion ($6.9 billion), up 22 percent year-over-year.
The automaker sold 630,237 vehicles in the first half of the year, up 19 percent year-over-year. Of this total, Lynk & Co sold 107,873 units, up 97 percent year-over-year.
As of June 30, Geely's total cash was RMB 19.92 billion.
Zeekr unveiled its first model, the Zeekr 001, a renaming of the model previously known as the Lynk ZERO, on April 15 and will begin deliveries in October this year.
In June, the company said it had sold out of its deliverable production for the year and therefore stopped taking further deposits.
It is available in three models with a price range of RMB 281,000 to 360,000. It is built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform and has a wheelbase of 3,005mm.
