Deutsche Bank has lowered its expectations as is expected to release second-quarter delivery figures later this week.

In a research note sent to investors Thursday, analyst Emmanuel Rosner said he lowered the estimate for Tesla's deliveries in the second quarter to 200,000 units from 207,000 in reaction to softer China volumes.

Rosner expects Tesla to deliver 30,000 Model 3s in North America, 38,000 in Europe, and 28,000 in China.

For the Model Y, he expects 55,000 deliveries in North America and 33,000 in China.

Rosner expects Tesla to produce 205,000 units worldwide in the second quarter, with 110,000 Model 3s and 88,000 Model Ys.

Tesla China's April wholesale sales were 25,845 units, including 14,174 for export, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), which means the company sold 11,671 units in China in April.

Tesla China's May wholesale sales were 33,463, including 11,527 from exports. That means it sold 21,936 units in China in May.

Earlier today, Tesla's two Chinese competitors, and Motors, both released June and second-quarter delivery figures.

Nio delivered a record 8,083 vehicles in June, up 116.1 percent year-over-year.

This was the first time the company exceeded 8,000 deliveries in a single month, up 20.4 percent compared to May.

Nio delivered 21,896 vehicles in the second quarter, up 111.9 percent year-over-year and marking five consecutive quarters of positive growth.

Xpeng delivered a record 6,565 units in June, up 15 percent sequentially from 5,686 units in May and up 617 percent year-over-year.

The company also delivered 17,398 units in the second quarter, its strongest quarterly delivery result ever.
