With the Shanghai auto show coming to an end, the dates for the Beijing auto show have been set.
The 17th Beijing auto show (Auto China 2022) will be held from April 21 to April 30, 2022, in both the new and old halls of the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, with an estimated total exhibition area of 230,000 square meters, the event's organizers announced today.
Auto China has been held every two years in Beijing since 1990, and has been held for 16 editions so far.
At the beginning of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic dealt a huge blow to the global automotive industry, and the whole industry was once faced with the crisis of a complete shutdown.
However, the 2020 Beijing auto show was still successfully held and became the only international top-level auto show held in the world that year.
The Beijing auto show has now become the top international auto show with the active participation of global auto manufacturers, high attention from all walks of life and wide international influence.
It is also an important biennial showcase for the Chinese and foreign automobile industry and related industries in China, and an important platform for guiding automobile consumption and leading industrial development.
With a total exhibition area of 200,000 square meters, the last Beijing auto show was the most visited domestic large-scale exhibition in 2020 and played a positive role in helping the recovery of the global auto industry and market.
