IM Motors, a SAIC-Alibaba partnership, has announced the first offerings of its L7, the "Angel Investment Edition," and a pre-sale price of RMB 408,800 ($62,821).
The IM L7 is available for pre-order during the Shanghai auto show, which opened Monday, and will be delivered in the first quarter of 2022, with the first 3,000 people who pre-order it dubbed Angel Investors.
These customers will receive the IMAD Smart Drive full-featured package, free lifetime subscription upgrades, and a seven-day purchase hesitation period.
The IM L7 uses Incell technology on a 39-inch inline screen that can rise and fall according to the user's needs.
The car also has a 12.8-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 100,000:1 high contrast ratio and NTSC color gamut.
The IM L7 is equipped with 12 cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and high precision maps, with a reserved LiDAR interface.
The vehicle is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 400kW and peak torque of 700 N・m, accelerating from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds.
The IM L7 is equipped with a 93kWh battery with a range of 615km, while the premium version is equipped with a 118kWh battery with an energy density of 300Wh/kg and an NEDC range of nearly 1000km.
The IM L7 supports 11KW wireless charging, which can charge 10.5 kW in one hour, equivalent to a range of 70-80 km in NEDC conditions.
