's 700th Supercharger station on the Chinese mainland opened in Beijing, the US electric car maker said Sunday, as it has been accelerating its Supercharger construction since the second half of 2020.

Tesla's 700th Supercharger is located at the Badaling ski resort in Beijing and currently has eight charging piles.

Just a few days ago, on January 7, Tesla opened a Supercharger station with eight charging piles at Beijing's Daxing International Airport.

At the end of 2020, Tesla had announced the opening of the world's largest Supercharger station, the Shanghai Jing'an International Center Supercharger Station, which has 72 charging piles.

Most of the Supercharger stations currently built by Tesla use the latest V3 charging piles, which can replenish 270 km of range in 15 minutes at peak power.

Tesla built more than 650 Supercharger stations in 2020, currently covering cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan, Shenzhen, and Shenyang.
