opened its largest Supercharger station in the world, the 72-pile Shanghai Jing'an International Center Supercharger Station, for operation on December 31.

It is separated from the world's largest supercharging station in Pudong, Dingxiang International Center, by the Huangpu River, and they can serve users in Pudong and Puxi.

Currently, Tesla has 75 Superchargers and 48 destination charging stations in Shanghai. Tesla's first V3 Supercharger in Asia is also located in Shanghai.

By the end of 2020, Tesla will have built more than 620 Superchargers in China, with more than 710 destination charging stations, covering more than 290 cities and a total of 5,000 Superchargers in mainland China.

In the core business districts of some cities, the density of Tesla Supercharging stations even surpasses that of gas stations. This is due to the massive station construction program that Tesla started in China in early 2020.

In addition, Tesla is investing in a Supercharger plant in Shanghai, which will be in operation in the first quarter of 2021, with an initial capacity of 10,000 Superchargers per year.
