Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker Li Auto's affiliate, Beijing Chehejia ("Car and Home") Information Technology Co., Ltd. is applying for patents related to autonomous driving, according to information from data provider Qichacha.
The company disclosed information on December 11 about a patent for "a method and device for generating scenarios for autonomous driving simulation", which relates to the field of data processing technology.
The main purpose of the patent is to make the self-driving simulation scenario closer to the real driving situation.
Founded in 2015, Chehejia, whose legal representative is Li Xiang, is committed to creating a new intelligent electric vehicle to change the traditional travel experience of users.
