Chinese electric car maker GAC will unveil a new model at the Guangzhou Auto Show, which opens on November 20, with specific information unknown at this time.

GAC Nio was founded in April 2018 with a registered capital of 500 million yuan and is jointly owned by GAC Group, GAC New Energy, Nio Foundation, Nio, and the founding team.

The company is mainly engaged in the research and development, sales and services of pure electric vehicles, and will cooperate in the upstream and downstream of the industry chain, including the development of new energy vehicles, sales, and services, leasing and operation, as well as vehicle networking and automated driving.

The GAC Nio R&D Center is located in Nansha District, Guangzhou City, and includes 10 departments including vehicle integration, styling, bodywork, interior and exterior trim, manufacturing engineering, and intelligent network connectivity. The production of the new car is done by the GAC New Energy factory.

In May 2019, GAC Nio released its new brand HYCAN, and the concept version of HYCAN 007 was also officially released. In April 2020, HYCAN 007 will be officially launched, priced at RMB 259,800 yuan - RMB 400,000 yuan.

In June this year, GAC Nio's first global brand experience center - HYCAN PARK will open in Shanghai. The brand experience center covers an area of 750 square meters, with brand image display, product display and experience, and other functions, and will also provide an offline venue for interaction with car owners.

The opening of HYCAN PARK will further improve the new automotive retail PAC channels, namely, "the Internet S2B2C business model and automotive marketing" integration of marketing methods.

Compared to the traditional 4S store model, GAC Nio is expected to reduce channel investment by more than 50%.
