Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker (NASDAQ: LI) said today that the Li ONE, the company's only model on sale, delivered 3,692 units in October, the third consecutive month of record monthly sales.

New orders also hit a record high in October, Li Auto said, adding that 21,852 Li ONE units have been delivered from January to October 2020.

As of October 18, 2020, Li Auto also set a record for the fastest delivery of 20,000 units of a new model from a new domestic carmaker.

As of October 31, Li Auto has 41 retail centers across China, covering 36 cities. Among them, 6 cities, including Haikou, Xining, Weifang, Wenzhou, Taizhou, and Nantong, were added in October.

By the end of this year, Li Auto's retail centers in Taiyuan, Yantai, Changchun, Baoding, Hohhot, Tangshan, Fuzhou, Jinhua, and other cities will be opened to provide customers with product experience and test-drive services.

As of October 2020, Li Auto has undergone 10 OTA upgrades, and Li Auto OTA version 2.0 will be launched at the end of December this year to upgrade the software application and the vehicle's functions.

Li Auto has recently upgraded the Li ONE's driving assistance features, adding a truck merge warning function.

Li Auto has also made two hardware upgrades.

By the end of October 2020, the Li ONE had been involved in 97 front suspension crashes, 10 of which involved a front suspension lower arm ball end coming off a ball pin.

Li Auto says it will upgrade Li ONEs manufactured on or before June 1, 2020, with a higher release force front suspension lower arm ball pin at no cost.

Due to customer feedback of damage to the chassis rear shields when the vehicle passes through wading roads, Li Auto will upgrade vehicles delivered in late October 2020 and earlier with new metal chassis rear shields at no cost.
