There are already clubs in Shanghai that operate vehicles as shared cars, including the Tesla Model 3, Model S, and Model X, which are being rented for 2 yuan per minute or 1,200 yuan per day, according to China Business News.

In response, a Tesla China insider said there is no such business in the country, and that Tesla has no relationship with other platform operations, the report said.

The sharing platform is located in a high-end clubhouse, and users can book a car rental app that will take them to the door with a service specialist whenever and wherever they want, regardless of time and location.

From the quotation, the platform's three Tesla models are divided into three rental options: hourly, daily, and monthly, with an RMB 10,000 yuan deposit for the monthly rental and RMB 3,000 for the other deposits.

The billing is RMB 2/minute for hourly rentals and RMB 1,200 per day for daily rentals. If the user chooses monthly rental, the rent is divided into 12,000 yuan per month, 15,000 yuan per month, 30,000 yuan per month, and 35,000 yuan/month.

According to the car rental specialist, the shared Tesla business has only one fixed point at the hotel in Shanghai, and there are about 200 Tesla vehicles in operation throughout the city.

One of them, the Tesla Model S, has been in operation since 2016 with more than 100,000 kilometers on the road, and it is also used as a network car in addition to a timeshare, a commercial commissioner said.
